Since I’ve somewhat unintentionally started “tracking” all of the no-hitters pitched in 2026, let’s lean into things a little and dedicate a singular post to them all. We will update this list as more of these games are pitched this year.

For the sake of argument, the list will not include high school games (which, frankly, are far more frequent and less widely reported).

The running tally (as of May 12):

  • MLB: 0

  • Triple-A: 1

  • Double-A: 2

  • High-A: 0

  • Class-A: 1

  • NPB: 1

  • KBO: 0

  • NCAA DI: 5

  • NCAA DII: 1

  • NCAA DIII: 1

Total no-hitters: 12

USC Aiken Pacers 10, Mars Hill Lions 0

Freshman right-hander Ben Shepherd made a big first impression on the Pacers, taking the mound for both his collegiate debut and the team’s season-opener: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 SO.

Vanderbilt Commodores 16, Eastern Michigan Eagles 2

Seven Vanderbilt pitchers — RHP Connor Hamilton, RHP Brennan Seiber, RHP Adria Casolba, RHP Nate Schlote, RHP Alex Kranzler, RHP Nate Teague, and RHP Tristan Bristow — combined to pitch seven no-hit innings in a run-rule-shortened game over Eastern Michigan: 7.0 IP, 0 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 6 BB, 11 SO.

Elon Phoenix 3, Fairfield Stags 0

February 28, NCAA (boxscore)

Three Elon Univ. pitchers — RHP Aidan Stieglitz, LHP Mike Staiano, and RHP RJ Latkowski — combined to keep the Stags almost completely off the bases: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 SO.

Stieglitz, a freshman making his first collegiate start, carried a perfect game into the eighth inning when he allowed the walk before inducing a double-play from the next hitter. He threw 86 pitches in 7.2 IP with 1 BB and 7 SO.

Florida State Seminoles 12, Bethune-Cookman Wildcats 1

March 17, NCAA (boxscore)

Three Seminoles pitchers — LHP Cooper Whited, RHP Brodie Purcell, and RHP Cole Stokes — combined to no-hit Bethune-Cookman in a seven-inning, run-rule-shortened game: 7.0 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 9 SO, 3 HBP.

Whited, a junior, threw 43 pitches in 3.1 IP with 1 BB, 6 SO, and 2 HBP (including one with the bases loaded to force in the Wildcats’ lone run).

Alabama Crimson Tide 6, Florida Gators 0

March 20, NCAA (boxscore)

Junior right-hander Tyler Fay, 22, needed 132 pitches to shut down the then No. 18-ranked Gators: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 13 SO.

RHP Liam Peterson (No. 14 on MLB Pipeline’s Top 150 Draft Prospects, as of mid-May) took the mound for the Gators, but struggled (5.0 IP, 9 H, 6 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO).

Springfield College Pride 16, Emerson College Bobcats 0

The second game of a doubleheader (Springfield won the first, 11-1), junior right-hander Josh Mayo needed 89 pitches to keep the Bobcats’ bats quiet: 7.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 10 SO.

Nippon Ham Fighters 9, Chiba Lotte Marines 0

24-year-old left-hander Haruki Hosono got the ball for the Fighters in their home opener to the 2026 season. He needed 128 pitches to shut down the Marines: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 12 SO. Hosono was the Fighters’ 1st-round pick in the 2023 NPB Draft.

Gwinnett Stripers 2, Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp 0

Jumbo Shrimp (Marlins) southpaw Braxton Garrett dominated the Stripers (Braves) over eight no-hit innings on 98 pitches, but still lost the game after a wild pitch and a throwing error (by Garrett) allowed a pair of hit-batters to score: 8.0 IP, 0 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 6 SO, 2 HBP.

Jacksonville only had one hit themselves on the day, a single by C Joe Mack off of RHP Spencer Strider, who was making a rehab start (4.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 8 SO).

Portland Sea Dogs 3, Hartford Yard Goats 2

April 26, Double-A (boxscore)

Three Sea Dogs (Red Sox) pitchers — LHP Hayden Mullins, RHP Caleb Bolden, and RHP Reidis Sena — combined to keep the Yard Goats (Rockies) hitless: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 5 BB, 12 SO.

Mullins, 25, was a 12th-round pick by the Red Sox in the 2022 Draft from Auburn University. He threw 76 pitches over 5.0 IP, but allowed a pair of unearned runs on 5 BB (and a crucial fielding error by 1B Ronald Rosario) with 5 SO. MLB Pipeline ranks Mullins at No. 14 among Boston’s Top 30 prospects as of mid-May.

New Hampshire Chicken Tenders (Fisher Cats) 6, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 0

The Fisher Cats (Blue Jays) suited up under their alternate identity for the game against the Rumble Ponies (Mets). Four New Hampshire pitchers — RHP Jackson Wentworth, RHP Nate Garkow, RHP Irv Carter, and LHP Kai Peterson — combined for an impressive final stat line: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 10 BB, 9 SO.

Wentworth, 23, was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 5th round of the 2024 Draft out of Kansas State University. He threw 82 pitches, walking four and striking out four in 4.2 IP.

MiLB.com’s Benjamin Hill noted that the combined 10 walks are the most issued by any team in a no-hitter since Aug. 2, 2012, when the Huntsville Stars walked 11. Also, coincidentally, New Hampshire pitched a seven-inning no-hitter last season while wearing their alternate identity (then the Buffalo Tenders).

Arkansas State Red Wolves 12, Little Rock Trojans 0

May 5, NCAA (story)

Red Wolves junior right-hander Ckyler Tengler, 22, shut down the Trojans on 93 pitches: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 9 SO, 1 HBP.

Charleston RiverDogs 3, August GreenJackets 0

May 8, Class-A (boxscore)

It took just one RiverDogs (Rays) pitcher — RHP Aidan Cremarosa — to shut down the GreenJackets (Braves) on 101 pitches: 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 11 SO.

Cremarosa, 22, was the Rays’ 8th-round pick in last summer’s draft out of California State Univ. at Fresno. This outing was just the sixth start of his professional career.
